Caitlin's Story - You Are Not Alone & Where to Turn

Hi, My name is Caitlin. I am 16 years old and am going to be a junior in highschool. Throughout the last few years, I have suffered from depression. I began to cut myself and had very low self-esteem. I ate very little and still wasn't content. Two of my best friends were thinking about suicide, and it was all I could do to keep them from going through with it. I ended a two year relationship with my boyfriend; it was not a pleasant breakup. My mother has a seizure disorder that they have not yet found a cure for, so I have been caring for her as well. After it all, I would like to help anyone else who feels they have nowhere to go. Were it not for my friends, I could not have gotten through it. I understand how hard things can get and how it's hard to talk to people (especially someone you don't know), but I would love to listen and give what advice I can. Thanks..
